Ceiling Fans
For the past 6 months, I have been trying to get my landlord to fix the heat in my house. It blows cool air. They have had an HVAC company come out about 5 times. Each time, the HVAC company says they have to tell the property manager what needs to be fixed. Then the property manager has to tell the owner, so that the owner can pay for it. Of course with the laziness of our property manager, this process takes several weeks to months for anything to get fixed. Now I am waiting for someone to come fix all of our windows. Out of the 11 windows in our house, only 2 open. Ummm...fire hazard. So, I decided to turn the ceiling fan on in my office today only to wonder if it is spinning the correct direction for the 'summer'. I looked online, and I am surprised by the number of people who say it doesn't matter what direction it spins. Anyway, the conclusion is that it should spin counter-clockwise in the summer.
